         PROGRAM: The Basics of Iris Culture and Terminology .  GRIS President, Cara Hutchings share the basics of bearded iris classes, terminology and appreciating the "Flower of the Rainbow." New information for the beginner and a review for the seasoned grower. Tips for getting your iris ready for the growing season that is coming soon!

Bonus:  How you can join the American Iris Society for $10 (usually $30).  Receive the full color journal and a voucher for purchasing new iris!

         PROGRAM: A visual tour of the AIS Siberian and Species 2016 Convention, Vaughn Sayles, AIS Region 2 Treasurer.  "Another Day in the Garden" was the theme of the 2016 Siberian/Species Convention in Portland, OR.  Vaughn will share pictures of the gardens and noteworthy cultivars the putting on a good display of bloom.  Learn more about "beardless" iris.
